with Mamady Keita
Mamady Keita ranks together with Famoudou Konaté and Adama Dramé among the most important Djembéplayers of our time. His enormous musical Groovepotential are legendary. His long energetic bows, which he stretches in his Soli are unique in the contemporary Djembémusic. Likewise his educational abilities. Mamady can decode even the most complicated musical structures and make them accessible to students.
In February 2010 we offer three Djembé courses in Dambach / Southern Germany with Mamady Keita.
The courses are organized with accommodation and food supply, so that
also persons with far journeys can take part without any problems.
If someone books more than one course the course fee is reduced by 10 %.
Masterclass with Mamady Keita
This course is addresses to persons, which studied already Djembemusic intensively. Persons, who made the advanced training "Djembé Pure" with Herman Kathan or a similar advanced training with another Percussionist, or work already as professional musicians are prepared very well for that course.

Advanced level one with Mamady Keita
This course is addresses to persons, which already did several advanced programs, know about the basic impacts on the Djembé and are able to control the common accompaniments. Experience with the playing of solo patterns should be likewise present.

Advanced level two with Mamady Keita
The level of this course lies in between the Masterclass and the advanced level one. Relevant experiences with so called ternary rhythms (also called 6/8-Rhythms) and soloing with the Djembé should be present.
